“Approaching SYZYGY” explores the relationship between interconnected independent objects within a system. In particular, it investigates the maintained relationship of objects despite distance and their progress toward realignment. As elements shift in the established motion of the universe, patterns are formed marking their positions in time. Using grid structures and weaving techniques, I have developed a series of patterns to account for various phases that may occur in order to reach a moment of unity.
